Do you take pets on your buses?
We do not allow pets on board any of our coaches. The only exception to this rule is for Service Pets, such as a seeing eye dog.

We currently do not provide any tours for the winter season.

Is the Columbia Icefield open in the winter?
No, the Columbia Icefield is closed in October until April each year. The Icefield has a harsh climate during the winter months.

Can children go on the Icefield Tour?
Absolutely, children enjoy the tour as much as adults and are welcome on the tours.

What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy as outlined in our Terms and Conditions states that Brewster Services may be cancelled up until 90 minutes before departure time for a full refund. For any Sundog services booked through our website there must be 24 hours for a refund.

How much luggage am I allowed?
We allow two pieces of luggage to go underneath the bus and one carry on. Allowing excess luggage will be determined on the day of travel, providing there is space.

Can you take bikes on the bus?
We do not guarantee the transport of a bike. Our luggage allowance does not include bicycles. We will transport your bike if we have the space available, and as long as it will not damage other luggage or the bike itself. Allowing bikes will be determined on the day of travel, providing there is space & the bike is in a box.

Do you offer discounts (student, senior, etc)?
Unfortunately, we do not offer any of these discounts for our tours or shuttles.

Do you offer a locals discount?
Yes, we offer a 25% discount for locals of Banff, Canmore and Lake Louise. These tickets must be purchased in person at least 30 minutes prior to departure and you must provide proof of residency to receive the discount. Please note that some restrictions do apply to this policy, please ask upon ticket purchase.

Do you travel between Banff and Jasper during the Winter?
Brewster does not travel between Banff and Jasper during the winter months. However, we do book for Sundog Tours’ daily transfers. These can be booked up to 2 days in advance on our Book Now Page, or by phoning 1-800-760-6934.

Yes, all of the Lake Minnewanka tour boats are wheelchair accessible.

Can a child travel on your bus alone?
A child above the age of 8 may travel on our bus Unaccompanied, provided an Unaccompanied Minor Agreement has been completed and handed into one of our Ticket Agents prior to travel. A child under 8 years of age must be accompanied by someone 15 years of age or older.

Do children ride free?
Children 5 and under ride for free when sharing a seat with an adult. If you would like your child to be guaranteed a seat you will need to purchase a Child’s fare ticket.

Do you travel between the Calgary and Kananaskis?
We do, we offer one shuttle daily from Calgary to Kananaskis and 2 shuttles daily from Kananaskis to Calgary. To find out schedule information go to our Airport Shuttles page for timings and pick up locations.

Do we stop at the Saddledome or the Stampede Grounds on the City Sights Tour of Calgary?
We do not stop at either of these locations during the Calgary City Sights Tour. The stops are at Heritage Park and Gasoline Alley.

How do you get to the Columbia Icefields from Banff?
Leaving Banff, travel 55 kilometers (34 miles) west on the Trans-Canada hwy #1, to Lake Louise. (The exit is past the Lake Louise townsite on highway #1) Then travel 125 kilometers (78 miles) north, from Lake Louise on The Icefields Parkway Hwy 93N to the Columbia Icefield.

Do you pick up at every hotel in Banff/Calgary/Lake Louise/Jasper?
While we do pick up at many hotels in each town or city, it is impossible to stop at every hotel. If you need additional information on which pick up location is closest to your hotel you can contact us at 1-800-760-6934.

What are your hours of operation?
The Brewster Transportation Centre in Banff is open daily from 6:30 am until 9:00 pm. The Calgary Airport Desk is open from 11:00 am until 6:30 pm daily.

Are reservations required?
Reservations are not required for our tours and shuttles, however, we suggest making a booking in advance to guarantee a seat.
