Columbia Icefield Tour - 55 minutes
Take a 55 minute tour through many valleys and over icefields to your destination - the Jewel of Jasper National Park, the Snow Dome, the Dome Glacier, the Saskatchewan Glacier and the Castleguard Glacier.
Driving Directions:
From Banff: Take the Trans-Canada Highway West towards Lake Louise. Pass the turn-off for Lake Louise (45 min. from Banff), and continue about 2km (1 mile) until you come to the Highway 93 North turnoff (Icefields Parkway) - turn right onto Highway 93 North, and continue 42km (26 miles) to the Highway 11 turnoff (turnoff located just before Saskatchwan River Crossing). Turn East onto Highway 11 and continue 20 minutes until you reach your destination: Cline River Heliport (right side of the road).
From Lake Louise: Start by going southeast on Village Road toward Lake Louise Drive. Turn left onto Lake Louise Drive which will become the Bow Valley Parkway. From here Merge onto Highway 93 North via the ramp on the left. Continue 42km (26 miles) to the Highway 11 turnoff (turnoff located just before Saskatchwan River Crossing). Turn East onto Highway 11 and continue 20 minutes until you reach your destination: Cline River Heliport (right side of the road).
From Jasper: Turn South on Highway 93 (Icefields Parkway) and continue past the Columbia Icefield Centre to the Saskatchwan River Crossing (about 1.75 hours). Turn East onto Highway 11 and continue 20 minutes until you reach your destination: Cline River Heliport (right side of the road).
