Banff Gondola Restaurants
In order to make your visit to Sulphur Mountain more enjoyable, we have provided several amenities. The Summit Complex located at the top of the mountain houses two restaurants, a gift shop, a snack bar, and public washrooms. At the base, a snack shop and gift shop provides a great selection of food and souvenirs for your convenience.
The Summit Restaurant is a self-serve restaurant, which seats up to 160 guests and offers a magnificent view of Banff and the Bow Valley. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available without a reservation. The Summit Restaurant is open 8 am-7:30 pm, grab & go items available until 8:30 pm.
The Panorama Restaurant, is located one level above the Summit Restaurant and seats up to 200 visitors. Seating in the atrium area offers guests a breathtaking view of the Canadian Rockies. Lunch and dinner are served daily throughout the summer months from June to September, open 11 am-7:30 pm. Click here to see our 2013 Group Dining Menus.
Peaks Snack Bar offers a great selection of light meals, ice cream, and snacks to-go. Located on the first level of the Upper Terminal, Peaks Snack Bar is open daily throughout the summer months from June to September, open 11 am-6 pm.
BBQ available throughout the week based on weather permitting.
Banff Alpine Lights - Friday & Saturday nights
Witness an inspiring sunset from the top of the Rockies. Alpine Lights is a mountaintop evening experience at the summit of the Banff Gondola, available Saturday evenings. This dining experience includes a full Alberta prime rib dinner and the most unique evening views in Banff National Park. Reservations are required.

Gift Shops at the Banff Gondola are located at both the summit and the lower terminal for your convenience.
A large collection of sweaters, jackets, shirts, and other clothing items are available as well as traditional souvenirs. We carry a postcard collection that promises to contain just the right photo to send to your friends and relatives at home.
If you've forgotten your camera, we have single-use cameras waiting for you.
Photo Shop
The Photo Concession at the Banff Gondola captures the memory of your visit in the unique setting of your Gondola car. In just minutes, while you travel down Sulphur Mountain by Gondola, your personalized photo is produced and waiting for you to purchase at our photo booth.
